The colour of these disks is normally blue but can be assorted, and of differing brands.

These disk are commonly known as 720K, 800K or double sided, double density disks. They are not 1.44Mb HD disks.

The disks are formatted and verified using the standardised double sided, 79 tracks and 9 sector MS-DOS formatting structure, which is the most compatible format.
